Compare AI video localization options

AI video tools fall into three groups: platforms that localize recordings you already have, platforms that generate new avatar videos, and services that localize live broadcasts as they happen. This page explains the difference and shows how Addavox compares in each, using each company's own published information.

FAQ

What's the difference between AI dubbing and AI avatar video?
AI dubbing, or video localization, takes a video that already exists and makes it work in another language, keeping the speakers, music and timing. AI avatar video generates a new video of a presenter from a script, photo or digital avatar. Some avatar platforms also translate uploaded clips, mostly ones with a single presenter facing the camera.
How much does AI video localization cost per minute?
On the published plans we reviewed on 15 October 2026, one localized minute costs from $0.16 to $4.69, depending on the company, the plan and what's included. Addavox costs $0.57–$1.17, with extra minutes at $1.49. The lowest-priced options use stock voices or drop sound effects.
