How we compare AI localization vendors
Every comparison on these pages uses each company's own public pages, checked on the date shown, with every source linked. Here is what we include, how we calculate prices, and how to correct us.

Why we publish this
We'd rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one. We compare Addavox with other options using each company's own published information, dated and linked, and we say plainly when another product is the better fit.
Which companies we include
Companies that buyers, review sites and AI assistants name when people ask about AI dubbing, AI video translation or live AI localization. We group them by what they actually do: localizing recorded video, generating avatar video, or localizing live feeds.
Where the facts come from
From each company's own website, documentation, pricing pages and help center, and for company events such as acquisitions, from trade press such as Slator and TechCrunch. Every source is listed at the bottom of the page that uses it, with the date we accessed it.
What the labels mean
- Not stated: the company's public pages don't say. It doesn't mean the feature is missing.
- Not published: the company doesn't publish a price; usually it sells through sales conversations.
- Vendor-reported: the claim, such as a customer name, comes only from the company's own marketing.
- Figures differ: when a company's own pages disagree, we show both figures.
How we calculate price per localized minute
One localized minute is one minute of source video dubbed into one target language. For each published plan, we divide the plan price by the minutes it includes. Where a company sells credits, we convert credits to minutes using the company's own stated credits per minute, assuming every credit goes to dubbing. We show the range from the smallest to the largest plan, and list extra-minute rates separately. Promotions are excluded.
- Some companies share credits between dubbing and avatar video. Their figures assume no other use.
- Where a company doesn't say whether minutes count per target language, dubbing into three languages may cost three times the figure shown.
How we compare live delay
Streaming protocols add their own delay before any service receives a live feed, and that delay is the same whichever service you use. We report delay from the moment the service receives the feed. Other companies' figures are shown as they state them; none says where it measures from.
How often we update
At least every 90 days, and whenever a company or reader tells us something has changed. Each page shows the date its facts were last verified.
